Traveling Risk Manager

Position Overview

The primary responsibly of a Security Concepts Group’s Risk Manager is to assist the client and stakeholders with security related issues.  Our Risk Managers provide recommendations to not only protect against harm but also liability exposures as well. 

 

Location:

  • Various, the right person would be required to travel nationally and internationally,

  • Not relocate required 

 

Pay:

  • Is a daily rate of $450-500 depending on experience. (W2 not 1099)

  • Logistics are paid (travel, accommodations, vehicle rental, food)

Initial Dates (possibly more to be to be added)

  • 5/11/2021-5/24/2021

  • 6/13/2021 - 6/17/2021

  • 6/21/2021-6/28/2021

  • 11/4/2021 - 11/15/2021 (tentative)

This is a long term client and additional dates are generally added.  Our Risk Management services will continue for the next 2 contracted years with additional years be signed in in the foreseeable future.

Must live in the lower 48 of the United States

Duties and Responsibilities 

 

  • Perform protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments

  • Leads the identification, communication, measurement, and management of risk

  • Manages relationships with third party security service providers

  • Evaluates and provides recommendations regarding security policies

  • Be a third-party representative regarding client meetings with individuals and document conversation and or make incident reports

  • Partners with key stakeholders to develop and implement standards, processes, programs, and best practices related to risk management

  • Identifies potential risk exposures, recommends solutions, implements approved programs

  • Create Country Information Sheets for international travel

  • Liaison with US Embassy personnel prior to international travel

  • Travel with client and their representatives on OCONUS trips ranging from 5-10 days at a time

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality with regards to any sensitive information

  • Interact in a professional manner with company team members, external security personnel or other external individuals and law enforcement officials

  • Must be able to interact comfortably with a variety of Stakeholders

 

Risk Manager Qualifications / Skills:

  • Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail

  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally

  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Preferably CPP or APP Board Certified, or willing to attain certification within a reasonable amount of time

  • Able to multi-task, think quickly and respond effectively in a dynamic and ever-changing environment

  • Have and retain a valid driver's license and ability to drive an automatic

Must be able to pass a detailed background check and complete a Safe Sport training
